My first computer was a Commodore 64! I was just widowed at 36, and I got a teenager to teach me so I could teach my kids. My husband would have loved computers. It was 1982. How times have changed. Now, 40 years later, our 3 children have all worked using IT! My eldest worked for Google in London for 10 years, next is a tech engineer, living in Europe, designing proponents for cars, phones, etc, and the youngest is in the far east, setting up ‘ethereum’ social media and using bitcoins. Sadly he does not keep in touch with any of his family, though I write to his google email address, but he does not reply, since 2016.
